Core Technical Skills

Backend Architecture & Distributed Systems

Designing large-scale, high-availability backend systems Microservices architecture Event-driven architecture API platform design Scalability, reliability, and performance engineering

Programming Languages

Elixir (mandatory) — 2+ years of production experience Strong backend development experience (8+ years overall)

API Technologies

REST APIs GraphQL gRPC Ability to select the appropriate API paradigm based on requirements

Cloud & Infrastructure

AWS (required) Docker Kubernetes Production deployment, monitoring, and scaling

Data & Messaging

PostgreSQL Database performance optimization Caching strategies Kafka (hands-on experience at scale)
