Introduction
The Clicks Group Services Sustainability team is looking for an ESG Analyst to support ESG reporting, investor relations, supplier engagement, and trends review to ensure compliance with global best practice and improve sustainability performance in leading ESG ratings and disclosures.
Job description
Purpose
To provide support and assistance to the sustainability team in meeting the overall sustainability objectives for the business.
Job Objectives
1. ESG data management and reporting
§ Support in compiling and analysing ESG data, with a focus on carbon and water data
§ Conduct ESG data verification to ensure accuracy and completeness
§ Support the preparation and production of corporate sustainability reports as well as meeting global reporting obligations on behalf of Clicks, with the aim to promote internal good practice to wider community and help raise the company’s profile
§ Support supplier ESG audits and conformance checks
2. Benchmarking
§ Conduct research on global best practice on material ESG issues and collate internal report (focus on environmental issues (with a focus on emerging requirements such as circularity, pollution, climate, nature and water))
3. Internal stakeholder management
§ Collaborate with groupwide stakeholders to collate and consolidate accurate and credible ESG information and data
§ Keep internal and external stakeholders abreast of changing reporting requirements
4. Sustainability strategy implementation, monitoring and evaluation
§ Assist in strategy coordination & implementation
§ Keep abreast of material changes that could impact overall strategy implementation
§ Support the tacking of both sustainability benefits and driving innovation/new product and service opportunities
§ Manage the distribution of policies and procedures for comment by the business
5. Effective communication and raising awareness
§ Assist in co-ordinating effective communication and awareness of key sustainability initiatives (developing and designing employee engagement campaigns and execution)
§ Assist to grow awareness of, and drive achievement of the Clicks Group sustainability programme and expectations
§ Stakeholder engagement

Minimum requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
§ Diploma or Degree in environmental management, business administrations, or social sciences.
§ 1-3 year working experience
§ General understanding of key ESG trends and issues recommended
