About the role

The Aerospace Solutions - Industry Verticals Product Advisor is responsible for developing and executing product strategies that support growth within the Aerospace industry vertical. This role partners closely with customers and internal stakeholders to identify opportunities, solve complex business challenges, and deliver innovative solutions that drive customer success and business growth.

The ideal candidate brings direct aerospace industry experience, strong project and program management capabilities, and a proven ability to execute strategic initiatives that generate measurable business results.

Essential Functions:

Support development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps serving Aerospace customers and market segments.

Partner directly with aerospace customers and stakeholders to identify needs and develop innovative customer-focused solutions.

Apply customer-centered design principles to improve customer experience and business outcomes.

Develop and support go-to-market, marketing, and sales strategies that drive adoption and market growth.

Conduct market, competitive, and industry analyses to identify growth opportunities and support strategic decision-making.

Build business cases, forecasts, and performance reporting frameworks to support investment and prioritization decisions.

Lead and execute complex cross-functional projects and programs from planning through implementation.

Collaborate across Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Technology organizations to drive business results.

Leverage analytics and market intelligence to identify trends, opportunities, and customer needs.

Serve as a subject matter expert on aerospace logistics, transportation requirements, and industry trends.

Monitor product performance and recommend improvements to enhance customer and business outcomes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in Business, Economics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Product Management, Marketing, or a related field plus 5 years of relevant experience; or Bachelor's degree plus 7 years of relevant experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Required Qualifications

Direct aerospace industry experience supporting aerospace manufacturers, suppliers, aviation organizations, MRO providers, or aerospace logistics operations.

Experience developing and executing product strategies that deliver measurable customer and business outcomes.

Proven project and program management experience leading large, complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to solve complex business challenges and create innovative customer-focused solutions.

Proven track record driving growth, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, or commercial results.

Experience developing and supporting marketing, sales, and go-to-market strategies.

Strong analytical capabilities including business case development, forecasting, financial analysis, KPI development, and performance reporting.

Ability to independently analyze data and market trends to develop actionable recommendations.

Experience gathering customer insights and translating needs into scalable products, services, or capabilities.

Strong understanding of aerospace supply chains, transportation requirements, and industry operating environments.

Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within highly matrixed organizations.

Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and willingness to learn.

Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and collaboration with technology teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting aerospace OEMs, suppliers, aviation organizations, MRO providers, or defense-adjacent aerospace operations.

Knowledge of aerospace logistics, supply chain resiliency, and specialized transportation requirements.

Experience leveraging analytics, automation, AI, or digital technologies to improve customer and business outcomes.

Minimum Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent directly related experience.

Minimum Experience:

7+ years in product management, industry verticals solutions, or related roles with a proven track record of insights impacting product outcomes. An advanced degree may substitute for experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Deep understanding of industry verticals products & solutions, both B2B and B2C and customer needs.

Advanced Strategic Thinking, Problem Solving, and analytical skills.

Expert stakeholder management and Communication & Influence abilities.

Ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior leaders.

Pay: Memphis range: $9,719.96/mo - $16,523.93/mo; Miami range: $10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo; Pittsburgh range: $10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo; Plano range: $10,231.53/mo - $17,393.61/mo

Additional Details: This position will be hybrid in Memphis, TN, Miami, FL, Pittsburgh, PA, or Plano, TX and candidates must live within a 50 mile radius. This position is hybrid, meaning employees will be required to work at a FedEx Campus location four (4) times per week.
