This position is an addition to the team, created to provide dedicated IT Business Partner support for the Gas Services (GS) division in Latin America. The new hire will address the increasing demand for strategic IT alignment in the region, particularly in Brazil. To meet this business need, the role will focus on three core areas: strategic business partnership and demand management, stakeholder relationship management, and IT portfolio oversight. This structure ensures the role acts as a vital link between regional business objectives and the central Digital Services organization, translating business strategy into actionable IT initiatives. Given the focus on strategic alignment and regional stakeholder engagement, the ideal candidate will possess significant experience in IT business consulting and relationship management within a global organization. As a Senior Professional (P3), they must be capable of managing complex projects independently, and fluency in both Portuguese and English is a mandatory requirement for this role.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Act as the primary strategic interface between Gas Services business units in Latin America and the central Digital Services organization, analyzing business objectives and challenges to identify demand for new IT solutions.
Collaborate with senior business management to align IT strategy with corporate priorities and regional operating models.
Develop and present business cases for new IT initiatives, outlining potential value, costs, and risks to advise on future direction.
Establish and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key business stakeholders and leadership across Latin America, particularly in Brazil.
Serve as a trusted advisor on technology trends and manage stakeholder expectations regarding IT service delivery, project timelines, and budget.
Provide strategic oversight for the regional IT project portfolio, ensuring alignment with business strategy, and support change management activities for new IT systems and processes.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Typically 5-8 years of experience in IT business partnering, strategic consulting, or a similar client-facing IT role.
Proven experience working independently on complex projects in a global, matrixed organization.
Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
Strategic and business acumen, including strategic thinking, corporate strategy, and digital transformation.
Stakeholder engagement and influence, relationship building, influencing skills, customer relationship management, change management, IT governance and management, project planning, and troubleshooting (problem solving).
