Job Summary

This role is a role within the Financial Crime Analytics team in WRB. Its responsibilities entail:

Use advance analytics, ML and AI for the identification and prevention of bad actors in the WRB customer portfolio (i.e., money mules, fraud, scams)

Develop ETL processes from various data sources

Ensure data quality and reliability, implementing quality checks, monitoring and troubleshooting

Create and maintain scalable data pipelines together with MLOps team

Ensure solutions adhere to SCB’s model, risk, compliance and responsible AI standards

Align with CFCR 2LOD functions for the risk and governance processes, supporting regulatory activities

Align with TTO/CDO on the analytics platform and the data feeds utilized for the development and hosting of the financial crime analytics models.

Keep up to date on current developments in the financial crime landscape and advances in AI.

Collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders including Senior leadership, Governance, Compliance, Technology and Operations.

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering or data science

Minimum 3 years of experience in a relevant field

Proficiency in Python, SQL and knowledge of database systems

Experience in warehousing, ELT/ETL processes

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP

Understanding of analytical and statistical methods

Understanding of ETL pipelines

Understanding of Financial Crime Risk

Strong collaboration and communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Problem solving and Analytical Thinking
