We’re looking for undergraduate level interns to support the GCS marketing vision as a Marketing Intern. This is a fast-paced team driving the development of commercial customer solutions at American Express.
Minimum Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a full-time bachelor’s degree program
Bachelor’s degree candidates with an expected graduation date between December 2027 and June 2028
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated interest in commercial payments and marketing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex concepts or problems into clear insights and recommendations.
Intellectual curiosity and desire to continually learn about the evolving payments landscape and emerging technologies.
Ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with leaders, colleagues, and cross-functional partners across the enterprise to deliver value.
Strong project management skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
Demonstrated resilience, proactive mindset, and a willingness to challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
Comfortable challenging the status quo and driving continuous process improvement.
Proficiency in analytical and presentation tools, including MS Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to enhance research, analytics, problem solving, and productivity.

Compensation
This Marketing role pays $25k-$63k/yr. Within typical range for marketing roles in United States.
