Based in the Strategic Planning and Environment team, you will assist with a range of environmental and sustainability projects, including the development of management plans, strategies and policies. You will provide high-quality research and administrative support, contributing to the successful delivery of Environmental Planning and Sustainability projects. The position will also assist with community engagement activities, including events, workshops and awareness raising. To be considered for this role, you must address the following selection criteria when completing your online application:

Knowledge of effective strategies to achieve improved waste reduction, sustainability and environmental outcomes

Well-developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

Sound decision making, time management and project management skills

Sound attention to detail and the ability to research and problem solve

Degree in sustainable development, environmental science, or equivalent and / or significant experience in a similar role

Current ‘C’ class driver’s licence

We are offering a gross salary of $94,367 to $99,929 per annum (depending on skills and experience). We value our employees and offer:

12% superannuation with the option to co-contribute up to a further 5%
