JOB FUNCTION / SUMMARY:
The Lead Commercial Client Administrator provides complex administrative and operational support to Relationship Managers and serves as a mentor for junior administrators. This role emphasizes independent problem-solving and the ability to manage tasks with significant financial exposure to the bank.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the primary point of contact for high-value or complex commercial clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues independently.
Expertly prepare, review, and coordinate loan documentation, using platforms such as nCino and Salesforce.
Act as a liaison between Relationship Managers, Lending Services, and other bank areas to ensure seamless workflows and accurate documentation.
Monitor account activity, proactively identifying and addressing risks or discrepancies.
Partner with Relationship Managers to identify and support cross-selling opportunities for ancillary services, participating in joint client calls and Relationship Reviews.
Mentor and guide junior Commercial Client Administrators to ensure tasks are performed accurately and efficiently.
Provide advanced support for managing deposit relationships, setting up accounts, and processing loan payments and transfers.
Lead special projects or initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and client service.
Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements.
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, finance, or related field.
4 years of experience in a professional client facing support function preferably in commercial lending.
Extensive knowledge of loan documentation, financial statements, and banking operations.
Proficient in banking systems, including nCino and Salesforce, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
ESSENTIAL MENTAL & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines
Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 20 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division an “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
