About the role
Responsibilities and Accountabilities
1. Functional
Quality assurance testing of the systems/project (listed above) covering the end-to end process.
Verification of functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria defined in business requirement document and user stories.
Support to User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including preparation of test scenarios and coordination with business users.
2. Non-Functional
Testing related to data integrity, performance, useability and system stability.
Validation of role-based access, audit trails and error handling mechanisms where applicable.
Regression testing to ensure that new enhancements do not adversely affect existing functionalities.
3. QA Process and Documentation
Development and maintenance of test plans, test cases, test scripts, and test data.
Documentation of test execution results, bug reports and testing summaries.
Logging, tracking and follow up issues using Azure DevOps.
4. Collaboration and Coordination
Close coordination with ICT’s Business Analysts, Product Managers, Product Owners, Developers and other technical team members during development and testing cycles.
Participation in project meetings related to system enhancements, releases and deployment readiness.
Provision of regular status updates on testing progress, risks, and quality issues.
Expected Deliverables
1. Test Planning and Design Deliverables
QA test plan covering scope, objectives, testing strategy, environments, roles, risks, and entry/exit criteria.
Detailed test scenarios and test cases mapped to: (1) business requirement documents; (2) functional and non-functional requirements; and (3) user stories and acceptance criteria.
Test scripts for manual and/or automated execution, where applicable.
2. Test Execution Outputs
Executed test case results (pass/fail, evidence/screenshots).
Regression test results confirming that new changes/enhancements did not break the existing functionality.
Smoke and sanity test results prior to UAT or release.
3. Bug and Issue Management Deliverables
Defect log / bug reports with clear reproduction steps, severity and priority classification and expected vs. actual results.
Tracking and resolution status updates in Azure DevOps.
4. Test Reporting and Status Communication
QA test summary reports per sprint, release, or milestone.
Daily or weekly QA status update during stand up and sprint planning with relevant technical teams.
Go /No-Go testing recommendations for UAT or production deployment.
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Manual Testing.
Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and software testing methodologies.
Experience in creating and executing test plans, test cases, and regression/UAT testing.
Proficient in defect tracking using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
ISTQB certification is an advantage.
Pay: Php60,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
