Costa Taco is on the hunt for a passionate and reliable Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our crew.

We serve authentic Mexican food with traditional flavours and are on a mission to create a new experience in Mexican hospitality! We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, takes pride in every plate,

Your Role:

Complete daily opening and closing procedures

Assist with stocktake and prep list planning

Prepare food to Costa Taco standards - fast, fresh, consistent

Maintain a clean and organised kitchen throughout your shift

Restock service stations (grill, pass, bain-marie) as needed

Follow food safety protocols - temp logs, sanitising, HACCP

Monitor and record food wastage

Support inventory and stock rotation procedures

Contribute to smooth lunch and dinner service operations

Complete shift reports and communicate effectively with the team

What You Bring:

Kitchen experience preferred, but we’ll train the right person.

Strong attention to detail, speed, initiative, and cleanliness.

Passion for food and consistency.

Team player with a positive attitude and work ethic.

Flexibility to work across lunch and dinner service.

Ability to work and comply with systems
