About the role
Responsibilities
The role will be primarily focused on the below themes:
Contribute to the FIC business strategy and support intiatives to improve revenue performance and operational governance
Increase operational efficiency and optimise operational costs
The role would involve:
Support Senior Business Managers and relevant front office on specific business initiatives such as big trades, new products, new offerings (electronic venue, new CCY,), etc.
Support Senior Business Managers and relevant front office on improving operational risk management and ensuring clean governance
Conduct ad-hoc requests, analysis, and studies to help support the business.
Collaborate with various support functions (Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations) on shared topics.
Prepare Dashboards for monitoring of relevant KPI
Act as lead on certain projects or deliveries
Prepare and update presentations for FIC Management
Profile required
Hold a relevant Bachelors or Master's degree in Finance, Business or similar
Prior exposure to the banking industry would be a plus
Strong Communication skills
Flexibility, pro-activity, curiosity and capable to multi-task
Result and solution orientated
Positive, can-do attitude
Team spirit, collective mindset
Interest in financial markets
Capable to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
Advanced level in Excel & Power Point
Familiarity with Digital visualization tool (Tableau / Power BI) would be a plus
Other programming languages would be a plus
This is a fixed term 12-month Trainee contract with Societe Generale. You will form part of the team on a full-time basis. In order to apply for the Trainee position please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of the Trainee contract.

Combining process and business expertise, quality of execution, technology advisory, innovative solutions and operational risk prevention, MARK/BMO is a trusted advisor helping to ensure the highest service levels to clients. MARK/BMO plays a pivotal role in collaborating with Support and Control functions in Finance, IT, Operations, Risks, Compliance and Legal. Support day-to-day business activities while also delivering on business-critical key projects, such as new business, regulations, governance, or transformation.
