What You Will Do
Responsible for Cell performance, including its personnel, resources, processes, and product quality
Oversees Cell processes, set day – day goals and objects for team members, ensuring effective execution and compliance
Supports Engineering in work-scoping and rectification activities when required
Leads capacity planning and set day-day operational objectives within a clearly defined area of responsibility. Assigns tasks to teams to achieve production activities to meet operational targets , service standards, etc.
Manages and optimizes resources to achieve Turnaround Time (TAT), On-Time Delivery (OTD), and financial objectives
Ensures workforce competence through structured training programs and ongoing development
Tracks and drives team productivity, including SAP hour management, overtime control, and reduction of non-productive time
Handles daily administrative responsibilities such as leave, SAP, BIPO overtime approvals, and raising purchase requisitions
Manages employee welfare, focusing on career development, training access, and engagement initiatives
Upholds EH&S compliance, reinforces safety culture, and manages disciplinary actions as needed
Acts as the operations point-of-contact for cross-functional requests and issue resolution
Develops leadership potential within the team and fosters a culture of active engagement and accountability
Provides primary input for hiring, firing, promotion, performance and rewards decision for direct report
Qualifications You Must Have
Degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical/Production Engineering with 4 years of relevant experience, or Diploma in Engineering with minimum 8 years of aviation experience
Experience in aircraft engine workshop practices and maintenance & repair of gas turbine engines will be advantageous
Analytical with strong leadership and supervisory skills
Highly motivated with a strong drive for success
Good team player with strong communications and interpersonal skills
Qualifications We Prefer
Technical experience in Engine MRO or the Aerospace industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP systems.
