Overview:

We are hiring a trade desk support engineer to join our IT department to handle L1 thru L3 level support of service requests/incidents in a professional and timely manner. Customer service and production support are the most important aspects of this role.

Job Responsibilities:

Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments

Proactive identification and resolution of production issues

Development of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvements/ automation with scripting

Troubleshooting and resolution of complex systems issues

Production Deployments of all infrastructure components

Off hours pager support on a rotating schedule

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Strong working knowledge of UNIX environment/Unix commands

Database knowledge with sql - MySQL, InfluxDB

Strong scripting knowledge - Python/Bash

Minimum B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential

Ability to switch and track various ongoing tasks and issues is required

Attention to detail in problem solving

Ability to work under pressure within a dynamic trading environment

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred:

Experience using Jira as a ticket/work request system

Experience using Grafana/InfluxDB/Icinga

Linux desktop support experience

Experience with version control systems such as git/puppet

Network troubleshooting and analysis experience

The range below reflects the expected base salary for this position. It represents a good-faith estimate of the base pay we anticipate offering, with actual compensation determined by your experience, education, skills, and performance throughout the interview process. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus (at DV Trading's discretion) and DV Trading's benefits package, including the benefits listed above.

Base Salary Range

$110,000 - $135,000 USD
