About the role

Project description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in GitHub Automation, CI/CD pipeline development, Python-based deployment automation, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF). You will be responsible for building and maintaining enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines, automating application deployments, and managing cloud-native applications deployed on PCF platforms.

Responsibilities

GitHub Automation & CI/CD:

Design, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Create reusable workflows, composite actions, and deployment templates.

Automate application build, test, security scanning, and deployment processes.

Implement branching strategies, release management, and repository governance.

Configure and manage GitHub Enterprise repositories and runners.

Python Deployment Automation:

Develop Python scripts and automation frameworks for deployments.

Automate environment provisioning, application configuration, and release validation.

Integrate deployment automation with cloud platforms and enterprise tools.

Develop API-based automation for operational and deployment activities.

Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF):

Deploy, manage, and support applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry.

Configure and manage PCF organizations, spaces, services, and routes.

Automate application deployments using cf CLI, GitHub Actions, and Python.

Troubleshoot PCF deployment, scaling, routing, and performance issues.

Work with buildpacks, service brokers, and application lifecycle management.

Implement blue-green deployment and zero-downtime release strategies.

Skills

Must have

8+ years of IT industry experience.

5+ years of DevOps and CI/CD implementation experience.

Strong hands-on experience with GitHub Actions.

Experience developing deployment automation using Python.

Hands-on experience deploying and managing applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF).

Experience implementing enterprise DevSecOps practices.

Strong knowledge of Agile and Continuous Delivery methodologies.
