About the role

The Cost Optimisation Analyst will report to the Cost Optimisation Manager. The Cost Optimisation analyst will be responsible for analyze, monitor, and optimize cloud costs to drive financial accountability and maximize efficiency across our organization. The expertise will enable us to make data-driven decisions, control cloud expenditures, and promote a culture of cost-consciousness in our cloud operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, process optimization expertise, and cross functional collaboration with finance, IT. Ultimately, your job will be an integral part of our efforts to ensure profitability and business success.

You will be responsible for

Cost Monitoring & Reporting: Track cloud usage and spend across multiple cloud platforms, generating regular reports and dashboards to visualize cost trends and identify anomalies.

Cost Allocation & Tagging: Implement and enforce tagging policies for accurate cost attribution, supporting chargeback and showback initiatives.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in developing cloud budgets based on historical data and growth forecasts; monitor actual spend against forecasts and identify deviations.

Data Analysis & Optimization: Analyze usage patterns to identify waste, underutilized resources, or over-provisioned assets; recommend and track cost optimization initiatives such as rightsizing and reserved instances.

Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to organizational policies on cloud spending, maintain tagging and resource lifecycle standards, and support audits and compliance requirements.

Tool & Process Management: Manage cloud cost management tools, automate routine reporting and alerts, and develop processes for ongoing cost control. *· Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, product, and finance teams to promote cost awareness, educate on best practices, and support cross functional cost optimization initiatives.

AI Cost Visibility & Token Economics- Establish and operationalize cost models (token, model, agent level) and enable enterprise level AI cost transparency.

You will need

Cloud platforms-Azure

AI/ML services (Azure OpenAI, Bedrock and emerging AI/ML platforms)

Data engineering / analytics

Strong understanding of: FinOps principles and cloud cost management Process improvement mindset with the ability to drive automation and efficiency.

Advanced Excel skills Experience of operating in a multi-national, matrix organisation with multiple legal and Group entities Experience working with complex data sets that requires strong attention to detail

Expert level organizational, written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making abilities Working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.
