About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Application Engineer – Steel to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in technical sales and application engineering within the Metal Working, Metal Cutting, Lubricants, Specialty Chemicals, or Industrial Consumables industry.
The role focuses on understanding customer lubrication requirements, recommending suitable technical solutions, supporting product applications, and driving business growth by delivering value-added engineering services.
Key Responsibilities
Understand customer lubrication and tribology requirements and recommend suitable lubrication solutions.
Demonstrate and present industrial lubrication products to customers.
Provide technical application support to improve productivity, equipment reliability, and maintenance efficiency.
Develop technical proposals and commercial quotations.
Coordinate with customers and internal teams for smooth execution of orders.
Manage existing customer accounts and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
Conduct plant visits, application trials, and product performance evaluations.
Lead and coordinate service personnel and distributors to ensure optimum customer support.
Conduct market research and identify potential customers and new application opportunities.
Maintain long-term customer relationships through technical support and application engineering.
Gather market intelligence and recommend product improvements based on customer feedback.

Desired Candidate Profile
B.E. Mechanical from a reputed institute.
3–5 years of experience in Technical Sales & Application Engineering.
Experience in Metal Working, Metal Cutting, Industrial Lubricants, Specialty Chemicals, or Steel Industry preferred.
Strong communication, presentation, and customer relationship management skills.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
