Smollan Financial Services is looking for Graduates; who have completed their Qualification (NQF-5 or higher) but have not yet found work.
This opportunity allows graduates to gain first job experience in Sales and Services within the financial industry.
NB: The opportunity offers a basic minimum wage salary + commission.
Job Summary:
The Field Sales and Service Consultant drives sales and promotes products within an assigned region. They build customer relationships, manage client portfolios, and identify new business opportunities to provide tailored solutions and meet customer needs.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:
Sales and Business Development
Actively seek out and engage new business opportunities to drive sales of financial services and products.
Identify and pursue leads to build a pipeline of prospective clients.
Conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations and consultations with potential clients.
Achieve sales targets and objectives within the specified region or territory.
Manage client accounts and build strong relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
Customer Service Support
Provide exceptional service to both new and existing clients, responding promptly to their needs and inquiries.
Offer financial solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of and goals of clients.
Follow up on client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Provide after sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any post-purchase issues.
Product and Knowledge Consultation
Develop a deep understanding of the company's financial products and services to effectively their benefits to clients.
Educate clients of the features, benefits and terms of various financial products and services.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments and competitor products.
Provide expert advice to clients to help them make informed decisions about financial products and services.
Reporting and Administration
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and product/service usage.
Prepare and submit regular sales reports and activity summaries to management.
Complete and maintain client records in CRM systems, ensuring all data is up to date.
Manage administrative tasks related to the sales process, including proposals, contracts and service agreements.
Compliance and Risk Management
Ensure all sales activities and customer interactions comply with relevant regulations and internal policies.
Identify and mitigate any potential risks associated with the sales of financial products and services.
Provide clients with clear and accurate information to avoid mis-selling or misunderstanding of financial products.
Stay informed about regulatory changes in the financial services industry to ensure compliance.
Minimum Qualifications
National Matric Certificate (Grade 12/NQF Level 4)
Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field - preferred
Experience
2-4 years experience in sales or customer service, preferably within the financial services or insurance industry.
Proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong background in consultative selling and relationship building.
