Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer to manage and execute automation projects from planning to commissioning. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in industrial automation projects, machine installation, customer coordination, and commissioning activities. Candidates with experience in the industrial marking systems industry will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Execute automation projects as per project timelines and customer requirements.
Coordinate with design, production, electrical, and service teams for successful project execution.
Supervise machine installation, commissioning, testing, and final handover at customer sites.
Interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and ensure proper implementation.
Prepare project schedules, installation reports, and documentation.
Coordinate with customers regarding project progress and technical requirements.
Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and commissioning.
Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and company standards.
Support after-sales service during project completion when required.
Travel to customer locations for installation, commissioning, and project support.
Required Skills
Knowledge of industrial automation systems and machine integration.
Understanding of electrical panels, sensors, motors, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies.
Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with AutoCAD and basic PLC/HMI concepts is an added advantage.
Strong project coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
Willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred Experience
2–3 years of experience in automation project execution.
Experience in Industrial Marking Systems (CIJ, Laser, TIJ, DOD, Labeling, or Coding & Marking solutions) will be highly preferred.
Qualification
BE/B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
