Job Summary

The Electrical System Owner is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems supporting manufacturing and facility operations. This role oversees electrical system design, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement initiatives, while providing technical expertise and project support to ensure operational excellence, compliance, and business continuity. The Electrical System Owner works closely with cross-functional teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver reliable electrical infrastructure and continuous system performance improvements.

What You Need To Do

Design, develop, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to ensure safety, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Take ownership of electrical system performance and drive continuous improvements to support manufacturing operations.

Manage electrical-related projects, including installation, commissioning, upgrades, and modifications.

Troubleshoot electrical system issues and perform root cause analysis to minimize downtime.

Provide technical support and guidance to production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, regulations, and company requirements.

Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for reliability, efficiency, and cost improvement.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, drawings, and system specifications.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for electrical systems and equipment.

Participate in system audits, inspections, and emergency response activities when required.

What You Need To Have

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of electrical system design, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Experience in electrical distribution systems, control systems, and industrial electrical equipment.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and specifications.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience in project management, installation, and commissioning activities.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Experience working in semiconductor, electronics manufacturing, industrial, or facilities environments will be an added advantage.

Professional certifications related to Electrical Engineering will be an added advantage.
