Role: Manager, Asset Management

Location: Tokyo

Key Responsibilities:

Asset Management: Oversee the management of the company’s data center assets, including development projects, monthly OPEX payments, and portfolio optimization

Asset Management: Develop and implement strategies to enhance asset performance while adhering to financial and operational best practices to minimize potential risks

Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes. Analyze financial statements, market trends, and economic data to provide insights and recommendations

Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and manage the company’s annual budget and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budget and provide variance analysis

Reporting: Prepare comprehensive asset management reports for the management, stakeholders and the financial institutions

Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with local regulations and company policies. Stay updated on changes in financial legislation and standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred

5+ years of experience in asset management, financial analysis, or a similar role, within the Japanese market

Effective communication and presentation skills

Fluency in Japanese and English (both written and spoken)

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in a multinational organization

Knowledge of local asset management standards

Experience with portfolio management and investment advisory

Experience in project development including dealing with local authorities, local communities, utilities as well as possess land title knowledge
