Description
Paramount Freightlines is continuing to its presence within the specialised transport sector, and we’re looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who understands what it takes to win and manage complex freight opportunities.
This is not an entry-level sales position.
We’re looking for someone with a proven background in transport and logistics who already understands the industries we service, how projects are quoted, the importance of relationships, and what it takes to deliver on customer expectations.

Your focus will be identifying opportunities, building long-term relationships, and generating a consistent pipeline of quality work within the specialised transport sector.
We believe strong relationships generate repeat business. You’ll be given the autonomy to develop opportunities your way while working closely with our operations team to ensure every customer receives the level of service Paramount Freightlines has built its reputation on.

The successful applicant will have:

A thorough understanding of transport compliance, operational requirements, and risk management in specialised freight.
Experience quoting and securing machinery, oversized, industrial or project freight.
An understanding of transport compliance, planning and operational requirements.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic sales plans for complex B2B freight solutions.
The ability to work independently while contributing to a close-knit team.
A genuine passion for building long-term customer relationships.
