6 months' contractor - Document Checker, Structured Trade Finance

Responsibilities

Perform timely and accurate documentary checks for trade finance transactions within agreed service levels.

Review customer submissions for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with trade rules and bank requirements.

Conduct sanctions and compliance screening in accordance with regulatory and bank policies.

Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements, internal controls, and risk management standards.

Liaise with customers and stakeholders to provide transaction updates and resolve trade-related queries.

Escalate discrepancies, exceptions, and operational risks promptly.

Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Banking, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.

Knowledge of UCP 600, ISBP, and URC.

1-3 years of Trade Finance Operations experience covering import and export products.

Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Team player who is resilient, adaptable, and customer-focused.
