Job Requirements for Elastic Engineer:

- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain the enterprise logging platform utilizing ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Fleet, and Beats).

- Proficient in CI/CD practices using GitLab and Harness.

- Extensive experience implementing the Elastic Cluster on Kubernetes using ECK.

- Strong background in working with AWS and GCP cloud platforms, including OpenSearch.

- Contribute to the design by understanding architectural trade-offs such as Scalability, Resiliency, High Availability, and Security. Conduct capacity planning and solution reviews related to the ELK environment.

- Implement solutions to analyze business data and architect data structures using Elasticsearch.

- Develop and manage high-volume data ingestion and real-time data flow processes. Collaborate with data log streaming platforms and tools to ingest data from systems, applications, and access logs. Design and build multi-tenant dashboard solutions.

- Establish and maintain operational best practices for the seamless operation of large Elastic solutions. Actively contribute to enhancing the ELK ecosystem.

- Optimize and tune the ELK environment (Filebeat, Logstash) to fulfill performance requirements.

- Investigate emerging advancements in Elastic that align with customer needs and implement necessary upgrades.

- Exposure to SQL and query optimization.

- Background in Core Java development and UI development.

- Experience with buffering tools such as Kafka and Redis.

- Understanding of security and access management concepts.

- Willingness to support production elastic applications with on-call responsibilities over weekends on a rotational basis.
