About the role
Key Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in lorries and commercial vehicles.
Perform preventive maintenance, including engine servicing, oil changes, filter replacement, lubrication, and fluid checks.
Repair and maintain diesel engines, transmissions, braking systems, steering systems, suspension systems, and cooling systems.
Conduct troubleshooting using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Repair or replace defective vehicle components and parts.
Perform vehicle inspections and safety checks before and after repairs.
Respond to vehicle breakdowns and emergency repair requests when required.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts usage.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and workshop procedures.
