About the role
A MEAN Stack Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining full‑stack web applications using the MEAN technology stack - MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
The role focuses on building scalable, high‑performance applications with seamless front‑end and back‑end integration.
Required Skills & Experience
5 - 8 YoE Strong hands‑on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js.
5 - 8 YoE Proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript.
5 - 8 YoE Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and asynchronous programming.
Good understanding of frontend frameworks, HTML5, CSS3.
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and web security best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and deploy end‑to‑end web applications using the MEAN stack.
Build RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
Develop responsive and dynamic user interfaces using Angular.
Design and manage MongoDB databases, including schema design and performance optimization.
Integrate third‑party services and APIs.
Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and QA teams.
Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
Perform code reviews and maintain coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
Good to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP).
Exposure to microservices architecture.
Knowledge of DevOps practices and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Familiarity with AI‑enabled or data‑driven applications.
