Senior Tester Data Migration | Long-Term Assignment | Financial Enterprise

We are looking for a Senior Tester Data Migration to support a large-scale mortgage data migration program at a major financial enterprise. This is a long-term assignment (through the end of 2027) within a high-impact, large-scale transformation program, where you will coordinate testing across legacy and modern systems, working closely with data engineers, business analysts, and project stakeholders in a controlled, audit-critical environment.

About the role

As a Senior Tester Data Migration, you play a key role in ensuring mortgage data is migrated accurately, completely, and in a controlled manner. You plan, design, execute, and report on data migration test activities, including validation of complex business rules and calculations, document migration testing, migration communication testing, pipeline and freeze testing, and fallback and recovery testing. You also coordinate the identification, analysis, and resolution of data migration defects, and support end-to-end testing across multiple workstreams.

You will be based in the Amsterdam area, working within a large, cross-functional program alongside data engineers, business analysts, and project managers. This is a long-term, full-time assignment (40 hrs/week) running through the end of 2027, giving you the opportunity to build deep, specialist expertise in large-scale financial data migration.

Who are you?

Fluent in Dutch and English

Strong experience testing across both legacy and modern system landscapes

Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities

Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to keep sight of the bigger picture

Experience with data migration testing is a plus

Experience within the mortgage lending domain or mortgage systems testing is a plus
