About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Business Developer with expertise in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Information Technology. This role focuses on improving the employee experience by optimizing HR systems and collaborating with business stakeholders and Agile delivery teams.
You will work on a variety of initiatives related to performance management, succession management, learning, and skills management within a cloud-based HR platform. You will translate business requirements into actionable user stories and collaborate closely with Product Owners, stakeholders, and an Agile DevOps team to deliver effective solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Gather requirements for new functionalities and communicate them clearly to the Scrum team.
Translate business requirements into well-defined user stories.
Work closely with the Product Owner to understand, prioritize, and plan incoming work.
Collaborate with business stakeholders and SaaS vendors to ensure alignment.
Support change risk assessments for upcoming releases and changes.
Help manage security issues and incoming support tickets with the team.
Play an active role in IT change management within the HR domain.
Required Skills & Experience
Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
Minimum 10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Developer.
Proven experience delivering IT change initiatives in:
Performance Management
Succession Management
Learning Management
Extensive experience gathering and documenting business requirements.
Experience working in Agile Scrum and DevOps environments.
Hands-on experience with HR applications.
Strong experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
Soft Skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage).
Pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent listening and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
Critical thinking and adaptability.
Natural leadership and project management capabilities, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
