The Role

As a Corporate Communications Manager on the Communications team, you will shape Mistral’s corporate narrative to position it as a leading voice in the AI ecosystem. This role exists to drive the execution of corporate communications campaigns, build our strategy, and protect our reputation through issue and crisis management. You will collaborate closely with Mistral’s executives and cross-functional teams, including Public Affairs, Science, and Legal, to craft compelling messages and campaigns that highlight our impact on the open-source community, customer autonomy, and CSR initiatives.

This is a highly visible role at the heart of Mistral’s mission, where your work will directly influence how the company is perceived globally. You will contribute to thought leadership, ensuring our corporate milestones and campaigns resonate with diverse stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Craft and distribute corporate communications assets, including press releases, blog posts, and social media content.

Support major corporate milestones, such as M&A, financial announcements, and sensitive communications.

Establish a consistent communications cadence to maintain a steady flow of messaging.

Prepare spokespersons for interviews, public appearances, and high-level events.

Build relationships with key internal stakeholders to align messaging and amplify impact.

Monitor Mistral’s reputation, share reports, and provide recommendations to safeguard it.

Measure the success of communications efforts and iterate to improve effectiveness.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in corporate communications and AI.

What We're Looking For

Strong track record in corporate communications, with experience in tech and crisis/policy communications.

Exceptional writing skills, including press releases, Q&As, and blog posts.

Deep knowledge of the global tech and AI media landscape.

Ability to design and execute creative communications campaigns across multiple channels.

Experience briefing and collaborating with agencies, freelancers, and internal teams.

Proven ability to position spokespersons in high-level opportunities, such as global summits.

Experience working in a dynamic tech environment, with a bias for action and ownership.

Team player mindset with curiosity and adaptability.
