About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Talent & Performance Management Consultant to join the Selection & Assessment (S&A) team within Talent Management & Learning. The S&A team provides expert consultation and delivers best-in-class tools and processes that help hiring managers and recruiters select high-quality talent while supporting a compliant and risk-aware selection process. The team also supports broader employee assessment needs across the talent lifecycle.

This role will work across Selection & Assessment and Talent Management to support initiatives related to skills and the integrated assessment strategy. You will partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR partners, stakeholders, and business leaders to create, validate, and implement assessment tools and processes that drive talent decisions and outcomes across hiring, development, mobility, and succession.

In this role, you will:

Serve as a subject matter expert on selection and assessment methodology, providing consultation that supports equitable, compliant, and high-impact talent decisions.

Design, validate, and implement selection and assessment tools and processes that improve quality of hire, strengthen predictive insights, and support consistency in talent decisions.

Manage vendor relationships and partner on the development and implementation of scalable, data-driven assessment solutions.

Contribute to the integrated assessment strategy by connecting selection assessments with broader talent assessments across development, mobility, succession, and other talent lifecycle decisions.

Evaluate current selection and assessment processes, identify opportunities for optimization, and help drive continuous improvement in team strategy and delivery.

Review statistical analyses, technical documentation, and policy requirements to ensure assessment tools meet standards for validity, reliability, fairness, and regulatory compliance.

Partner with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR partners, and business leaders to align selection and assessment practices with skills, workforce priorities, and broader enterprise talent strategies.

Advance skills-based talent practices by helping connect assessments to skills frameworks, translating assessment insights into actionable talent insights, and enabling recruiters and managers to use tools effectively.

Manage multiple projects and deliverables, resolve moderately complex issues, and collaborate across a matrixed environment to achieve business and talent outcomes.

Required Qualifications, US:

4+ years of Talent and Performance Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Advanced degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology preferred

Experience validating selection tools and processes to support fairness and legal compliance

Experience developing selection tools and processes that improve efficiency and consistency in hiring

Experience consulting on selection and assessment policies and best practices with leaders, peers, and business partners

Strong project and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver on deadlines

Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced environments with evolving priorities

Experience identifying, assessing, and evaluating vendor-provided solutions and services

Knowledge of state and federal employment laws

Experience reviewing and interpreting statistical analyses and technical documentation related to assessment tools

Experience supporting large-scale selection, assessment, or talent management initiatives

Job Expectations:

Hybrid work schedule with a minimum 3 days in office, 2 days remote

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
