Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm Occasional weekend rotation and holidays

Pay Range:

$20.80 - $31.20

Essential Functions

Responds timely to system and/or clinician schedule requests to ensure referrals and ongoing care is scheduled per policy/orders and patient need.

Utilizes system scheduling module, communication tools and reports to ensure timely and well-coordinated patient visits effectively and accurately.

Utilizes other patient information systems to ensure complete referral information attached and available in EMR when appropriate.

Provides timely feedback to leadership when barriers to productivity, staffing needs and or untimely clinician response for communication and documentation.

Monitors assigned reports for compliance with requested scheduling and alerts when scheduling is outside of regulatory or agency policy.

Physical Requirements

Works in an office environment. Requires long periods of sitting and perform computer work.

Education, Experience and Certifications

High School Diploma or GED required. 1 year progressively responsible secretarial and administrative experience required, 3 years preferred. Organized, effective oral and written communication, ability to multi-task/prioritize, customer service skills preferred. Strong computer/typing skills preferred.

Provides administrative support for a defined clinical team or teams. Conducts timely and effective scheduling/visit assignments to support well-coordinated care, clinician productivity standards and policies. Performs scheduling tasks per MD orders, direction of clinicians and appropriate authorizations. Identifies and communicates to leadership barriers to productivity, staffing needs and untimely clinician communication/documentation that impedes the service line's operational and financial success.
