What You'll Do

Perform electromagnetic simulations of RF and mmWave designs using industry leading simulation tools

Analyze complex electromagnetic structures and present simulation results with clear technical recommendations to the engineering team

Identify opportunities to improve RF performance through simulation driven design optimization

Conduct Radar Cross Section simulations for both Destinus platforms and external airborne vehicles to support threat assessment and signature reduction activities

Design and optimize radomes that balance electromagnetic performance with structural and environmental requirements

Lead the integration of antenna systems across UAV platforms, ensuring reliable performance of navigation, communication, radar, and other wireless subsystems

Optimize the coexistence of multiple antenna systems by evaluating placement, coupling, and electromagnetic interactions

Design and evaluate antenna elements and arrays for aerospace applications

Support antenna validation through laboratory, field, and anechoic chamber measurements, including radiation patterns, reflection coefficients, and other key performance metrics

Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across RF, avionics, systems engineering, mechanical design, and flight testing to deliver fully integrated solutions

Requirements

What You'll Need

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electromagnetics, Telecommunications, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field

Strong experience with electromagnetic simulation using Ansys HFSS

Familiarity with HFSS 3D Layout, PyAEDT, or Microwave Office AWR is considered an advantage

Programming experience in Python and or MATLAB for automation, simulation, and data analysis

Experience performing Radar Cross Section simulations of airborne vehicles and complex subsystems

Strong understanding of radome design and electromagnetic materials

Knowledge of frequency selective surfaces and metamaterials is a plus

Experience designing and simulating complex multiport electromagnetic structures

Experience with antenna element and antenna array design

Knowledge of conformal antenna design is an advantage

Strong understanding of antenna selection, placement, and performance optimization for UAV applications

Experience integrating multiple antenna systems while minimizing electromagnetic interference and maximizing subsystem coexistence

Knowledge of antenna measurement techniques in both field and anechoic chamber environments

Professional proficiency in English
