The HR Operations Supervisor – APAC is responsible for delivering efficient and consistent HR operational support across the employee lifecycle for the APAC region.

The role acts as a key point of contact for managers and employees, providing clear and reliable advice on HR processes and policies. It also provides day-to-day guidance to junior team members, including acting as the primary “four eye” checker for contracts and employee letters.

A key objective of the role is to partner with the global HR team and work towards continually enhancing the HR processes to drive greater global efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Deliver end-to-end HR Operations support across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, and leavers)

Act as the primary checker for employment contracts and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance for APAC

Support onboarding processes, including coordination with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers

Manage background screening processes and liaise with external vendors, escalating issues where required

Act as an escalation point for guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and queries

Assist with immigration and right-to-work processes in partnership with external providers

Support processes such as probation, transfers, flexible working and family leave

Support the leavers process, including exit interviews where applicable and system updates

Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS (Oracle) and produce basic HR reports as required

Provide day-to-day support and guidance to HR Administrators, sharing knowledge and best practice

Contribute to process improvements and support the delivery of regional and global HR initiatives, partnering with global HR and COE leaders

Support audit activities and regulatory requirements in partnership with Compliance

Qualifications:

Knowledge & Experience

Proven experience in HR Operations and change management, confident in using systems, AI and shared service models to drive change

Payroll experience preferred to provide on the ground oversight and direction as needed

Good understanding of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration

Experience using HR systems (preferably Oracle)

Strong awareness of employment practices across APAC (beyond India), with an understanding of key regional differences

Familiarity with data privacy principles and handling employee data appropriately

Qualifications & Skills

8+ years’ experience in a HR role

Strong verbal and written English skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders across regions

High attention to detail, particularly when reviewing contracts and formal documentation

Well organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities

Confident responding to employee and manager queries

Strong Microsoft Office skills (particularly Word and Excel)

Collaborative and flexible approach to working within a team

Proactive and willing to take ownership of tasks and processes

Working experience in multi-national organizational environment
