Security Engineer, Product, Cloud CISO

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

2 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews or threat modeling.

2 years of experience with security engineering, computer and network security and security protocols.

2 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.

Preferred qualifications:

Experience in building relationships at various levels, along with advanced written and verbal communications skills and the ability to influence others.

Experience in consulting or project management with the ability to meet or exceed goals.

Understanding of both offensive and defensive security methods.

Our Security team works to create and maintain the safest operating environment for Google's users and developers. Security Engineers work with network equipment and actively monitor our systems for attacks and intrusions. In this role, you will also work with software engineers to proactively identify and fix security flaws and vulnerabilities.

As an information security engineer you will help to ensure that our software and systems are designed and implemented to the highest security standards. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Spain: €70000 - €71500 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Identify security issues, implement and design security controls, tools, and services to improve security systems and processes.

Conduct security reviews, research and reproduce vulnerabilities, design secure protocols and systems, and write tests and fuzzers.
