Sr Mgr, Nursing & Clinical Support Training
Full-Time (Hybrid)
Location: Within PPMM Region
Essential Duties
Supervises these RN functions: RN Trainer, Affiliate RN
Orients & trains new RN Trainers in all RN and HSS modules. Provides feedback and direction and assesses new RN Trainers for competence
Works with RN Trainers, Center Managers and Sr Program Manager of AB Services to coordinate schedules
Conducts annual performance review
Affiliate RN
Serves as resource for Affiliate RNs with all standardized procedures
May check off RN in SRH services and standardized procedures
Orients RN to role of signing off HSSs in all skills
Orients to MAB services
Orients and trains new Recovery Room RNs
Provides PPMM IV Certification
Provides assessment input to annual performance reviews in conjunction with Center Managers and Lead Clinicians
Oversees development of curriculum for all RN and HSS training modules in conjunction with HSS and RN training teams
Reproductive Health
Abortion Services
Family Medicine
Reviews and updates RN Manual and training resources annually
Facilitates HSS training
Reproductive Health modules in back office & lab skills
Family Medicine modules for relevant procedures, health care maintenance, chronic diseases, and the Patient Centered Medical Home model
Conducts skills practicums and completes check off process at the HSS’ home site when indicated
Maintains training tracking for HSSs in conjunction with Training Teams
Oversees the Affiliate RN program to include, but not limited to:
Ongoing program assessment for development opportunities
Staffing and scheduling oversight
Ongoing assessment for training opportunities
Ongoing assessment of workflow and efficiency improvement
Monitor RN productivity
Maintains training tracking for RNs in conjunction with Training Teams
Qualifications: Ability to perform the duties described above. A typical means of acquiring those abilities would be:
Active California and Nevada RN licenses
Experience providing clinical training
Experience as a recovery room RN
Experience working in a health center under standardized procedures
Requirements
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to different locations throughout the affiliate
Ability to communicate effectively, make decisions, solve problems and function as a team leader
Excellent organizational skills, a sense of responsibility and a high level of motivation
Current experience using computer and mouse
Experience using Microsoft Office programs and willingness to learn new computer skills
Flexibility in working hours, including the ability to work nights and weekends
Compensation
This Healthcare role pays $171k-$179k/yr. Within typical range for healthcare roles in United States.
