A Day in the Life:
As a Quality Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring product quality, compliance, and documentation accuracy throughout the product lifecycle. You will manage the review, audit, and archiving of quality control records while handling sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality, critical thinking, and attention to detail. This role requires sound judgment to support product release decisions, ensuring that quality standards and regulatory requirements are consistently met. You will collaborate with internal and partner teams, participate in quality control activities at manufacturing facilities when required, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational excellence and product reliability.
The Impact You'll Make:
Ability to handle sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality and, discretion.
Audit and review all production run paperwork, batch sheets, line check logs, etc.
Filing completed documentation.
Make decisions regarding the release of products to the market with established policies, processes, and company guidelines.
Assist with special tasks and, projects as assigned.
Accurately record contract packing facility information onto excel spread sheets.
Work closely with the department leadership while in support of business unit goals. Visit product manufacturing facilities and lead quality control related investigations together with the larger QC tea
Who You Are:
Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of Chemistry, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related areas.
Additional Experience Desired: Between 3‐5 years of experience in food manufacturing required, preferably in the beverage
Additional Experience Desired: Between 3‐5 years of experience in supplier qualification, powder blending, risk management, deviation investigations
Computer Skills Desired: Word and Excel (desirable knowledge in Smartsheet) and, Microsoft Outlook.
Preferred Certifications: Experience presenting technical data, technical reports for internal and external use
Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Languages preferred: Portuguese: Fluent; English: Intermediate to Advanced; Spanish: Basic
