What you'll do:
Acquire, build, and cultivate relationships with Independent Agencies in the Central Region
Schedule and conduct meetings with ad agency decision-makers and executive leaders
Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
Communicate the value of our media buying platform by walking through detailed demonstrations of the product
Execute on a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals
Hit monthly and quarterly revenue targets
Respond to RFPs and prepare customized proposals to win new business
Grow current accounts by identifying and closing up-sell opportunities by understanding core client business needs
Acquire, develop, and close new agency relationships to use the platform
Understand competitive differentiators in a dynamic online advertising landscape
Work with the product team to help share customer insights to craft our product
Collaborate with the trading and account management teams to up-sell clients
Who you are:
Bachelor’s Degree
4+ years of outbound sales experience in a relevant industry or field
Experience at an online publisher, ad network, ad exchange, ad server, SEM platform, DSP, or other online advertising roles
Existing relationships with advertising agencies, media buyers and technology decision-makers in the Central Region is not required but helpful
Strong quantitative skills and negotiation ability
Self-starter – able to tackle new clients or territories with little mentorship
Agile learner – able to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes
Able to travel 1-2x per month, including overnight travel
Strong experience prospecting new accounts
Experience managing longer sales cycles with multiple partners
Comfortable working with several different teams inside the organization to collaborate and grow an account
Established record of exceeding revenue expectations, hunting, and winning net new business
In accordance with various US state laws, the range provided is the Trade Desk's reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and location. All employees may be eligible to become The Trade Desk shareholders through eligibility for stock-based compensation grants, which are awarded to employees based on company and individual performance. The Trade Desk also offers other compensation depending on the role such as variable compensation-based incentives and commissions. Plus, expected benefits for this role include comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with premiums paid in full for employees and dependents, retirement benefits such as a 401k plan and company match, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, well-being benefits, reimbursement for certain tuition expenses, parental leave, sick time of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, vacation time for full-time employees up to 120 hours thru the first year and 160 hours thereafter, and around 13 paid holidays per year. At the Trade Desk, Base Salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is
$76,900 - $141,000 USD
