About the role
Our Rice portfolio is at the heart of SunRice ANZ, and we’re looking for a Brand Manager who’s excited to help shape its next phase of growth. This is a rare opportunity to work on one of Australia’s most recognised food brands, supporting a significant portfolio with big ambitions, strong consumer relevance and plenty of room to innovate.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Rice & Snacks, you'll lead key initiatives across the SunRice Rice and Snacks portfolio, with responsibility for portfolio management, innovation pipeline and development and multicultural marketing. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll leverage consumer, customer and category insights to drive growth, strengthen brand performance and bring impactful ideas to market.
Key responsibilities will include:
Owning and growing your portfolio, with responsibility for brand health, market share and P&L performance.
Leading portfolio planning and innovation development, including shaping and delivering a strong 3-to-5-year innovation pipeline.
Identifying opportunities for portfolio growth linked to consumer insight, market trends, cultural relevance and customer opportunities.
Leading key multicultural marketing plans across the Rice portfolio, helping ensure our brands connect meaningfully with diverse consumer groups.
Translating consumer, shopper and market insights into clear brand strategy, innovation and communication plans.
Driving brand equity and market share growth through strong planning, execution and ongoing performance tracking.
Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, Insights, Finance, Legal and Compliance to ensure launches are commercially aligned and operationally ready.
Partnering with media, creative, research and agency teams to support integrated marketing plans, NPD launches and campaign activity.
Monitoring portfolio performance, identifying opportunities, risks and actions to drive growth.
Managing A&P budgets responsibly, including monthly reconciliation and reporting in partnership with Finance.
Keeping a curious eye on consumers, customers and competitors, always looking for ways to make our brands stronger, more relevant and better every day.
About You

A genuine passion for food and the role it plays in everyday moments.

Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and keep things moving.
A curious, growth-focused mindset, with a willingness to challenge, improve and keep learning.
Comfort working with data, insights and performance reporting to guide decision making.
A collaborative and proactive style, with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
