About the Opportunity
The Environmental Advisor offers the opportunity to play an active part in influencing and delivering the project's environmental targets and outcomes. Reporting into the Manager, Environment & Sustainability, this role will be accountable for delivering environmental performance, implementing client requirements whilst the coordination and communications of environmental requirements within the Project Team and to stakeholders.
Key Accountabilities
Conduct regular environmental and sustainability inspections and audits
Conduct environmental monitoring,
Collection and maintenance of environmental reports and monitoring data
Development and delivery of environmental training, toolboxes and inductions
Develop and update environmental documentation
Conducting incident reporting
Required Skills and Competencies
Ideally You will have a degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science or Equivalent
Experienced in management of potential environmental hazards & risks on site (i.e., noise, water, air, heritage sites, contaminated soil, flora/ fauna).
Advanced communications skills and experience liaising, advising & coordinating with construction teams on site
Working knowledge of environmental legislation, regulations and best practice publications
