What will you be doing?
The Senior Manager, Sales Lead is responsible for owning the commercial strategy, revenue performance, and overall value proposition of data collaboration programs within the region. This role acts as the primary commercial leader, balancing the needs of clients (Retailer and manufacturers), internal stakeholders, and external partners while driving sustainable revenue growth.
This position requires a combination of strategic leadership, consultative selling, financial accountability, and cross-functional influence.
Job Responsibilities
Commercial Strategy & Value Proposition
Define and continuously evolve the commercial value proposition of the data collaboration programs.
Identify and pursue new opportunities.
Ensure the offering delivers clear, measurable value to clients and partners.
Partner with internal teams to develop case studies, insights, and proof points that strengthen positioning.
Lead the go-to-market messaging, pricing frameworks, and packaging structures.
Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights that help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes.
Revenue Ownership & Financial Management
Own a multi-million-dollar revenue target, including accountability for growth and retention.
Build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensuring consistent progression through the sales funnel.
Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for leadership reporting.
Monitor performance against targets and adjust strategies to close gaps.
Partner with Finance to manage billing issues, revenue recognition, and escalations.
Sales Leadership & Deal Execution
Lead high-value and complex sales opportunities, including negotiations and deal structuring.
Oversee the full contract lifecycle:
Drafting commercial terms
Managing negotiations and redlines
Driving deals to signature
Deliver executive-level sales presentations, product demonstrations, and strategic pitches.
Support and guide team members on sales best practices and deal strategy.
Client & Stakeholder Leadership
Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders.
Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers by demonstrating valuable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Insights, Product, Finance, Legal) to:
Align priorities
Resolve issues
Accelerate deal closure
Influence internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on commercial strategy and execution.
Program Governance & Optimization
Ensure compliance with pricing, contractual terms, and program rules of engagement.
Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, tools, and workflows.
Lead communication of program changes, enhancements, and updates to clients and internal teams.
Drive adoption of best practices across the commercial organization.
Sales Enablement & Communication
Develop and maintain high-quality sales materials (presentations, demos, proposals, training content).
Ensure consistent messaging across all client interactions.
Enable internal teams with tools and training to effectively communicate value.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred.
5+ years of experience in sales, commercial strategy, or client leadership roles.
Experience working with data-driven products (e.g., analytics, POS, supply chain, or customer data).
Proven track record of owning and exceeding revenue targets.
Strong experience in sales, contract negotiation and complex deal management.
Native-level or business-professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required.
Fluency in Portuguese is considered a strong asset.
