CAE Engineer- Crash & Durability

Summary:

Automotive CAE Engineer with experience in Crash & Durability

Responsibilities:

Responsible for dynamic and/or static, linear and/or nonlinear analysis utilizing LS-DYNA or Radioss.

Utilize Hyperworks Suite for preprocessing tasks and meshing.

Experience in Durability CAE with Optistruct/Nastran.

Interpret data, develop, and report countermeasures using Hyperworks Suite for post processing.

Must be able to optimize and correlate analyses with real world test results.

Communicates effectively within the group about milestones and issues, and outside the group to accomplish goals.

Analyze and resolve complex problems independently or with minimal guidance.

Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve product and/or processes.

Utilizes Excel to create and update project schedules.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering and 6+ years of Crash Safety CAE experience and/or Durability CAE

Experience with CAE tools such as Hypermesh, Optistruct, Radioss required

Experience with HyperView, Hypergraph for post processing preferred

Strong Microsoft Office skills, including excel.
