Job Description
Lead the people, partnerships and performance of a diverse portfolio of Outside School Hours Care services across Western Australia.
Reporting to the State General Manager, the Regional Director will lead a team of Regional Managers and provide strategic and operational oversight across a significant multi-site portfolio.
This is a senior leadership opportunity combining operational excellence, commercial accountability, strategic partnerships and meaningful community impact. You will build the capability of senior leaders, strengthen relationships with schools and key stakeholders, and use financial and operational insights to support quality, growth and sustainable service performance.
Experience within education, childcare or community services would be valuable, but it is not essential. We are equally interested in experienced operational leaders from other complex, multi-site and customer-focused environments.

About the Role
You will be accountable for the operational, commercial and customer performance of a portfolio of services, leading through Regional Managers to deliver consistently strong outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching and developing Regional Managers to build a capable and accountable leadership team
Driving operational and financial performance across a complex multi-site portfolio
Managing budgets, workforce performance, revenue, service costs and broader commercial outcomes
Using data and insights to identify risks, trends and opportunities
Building strategic partnerships with schools, key accounts, government bodies and community stakeholders
Supporting contract performance, retention, renewals and sustainable growth
Leading change, continuous improvement and the consistent adoption of systems, policies and processes
Strengthening service quality, governance, risk management and regulatory compliance
Ensuring child safety and wellbeing remain central to operational and strategic decision-making
Who We’re Looking For
We can teach you about JAG and the Outside School Hours Care sector. What you will bring is:
Significant operational leadership experience across a multi-site or geographically dispersed portfolio
Experience leading senior leaders through multiple layers of management
Strong commercial and financial acumen, including responsibility for budgets, workforce planning and Profit and Loss performance
A demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic customer, client or stakeholder partnerships
Experience delivering operational improvement, growth, transformation or organisational change
Strong judgement and confidence using data to guide decisions
Experience operating within a complex, regulated or risk-sensitive environment
Experience within education, childcare, care or community services will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Qualifications
Australian working rights
A current driver’s licence and ability to travel across the portfolio as required
A current or obtainable National Police Check
A current or obtainable Working with Children Check
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, management, education or a related discipline will be highly regarded; equivalent senior leadership experience will also be considered
