This position reports to:

Production Development Specialist

In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements.

Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project.

Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources.

Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, industrial, or a related engineering field.

3+ years of experience in similar positions as a manufacturing and process engineer with experience in essential manufacturing and assembly processes.

Experience with AutoCAD 2D layout management (SolidWorks 3D preferred).

Knowledge of capacity calculations, creating and updating manufacturing routes in SAP and experience managing OPEX and CAPEX savings projects.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing. (Green Belt certification preferred).

Advanced English proficiency.
