About the role
Position Overview
FP&A is primarily responsible for developing, preparing, and improving management reporting and financial analysis, focusing on Delivery & Supply Chain (D&SC) as well as Inventory Management. Also serves as support for month-end forecasting, scorecard, cost review, and annual budget.
Responsibilities
Support the annual budget and forecast process by validating Delivery & Supply Chain (D&SC), logistics, sales volume, and pricing assumptions with relevant teams.
Analyze D&SC costs and identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and additional income generation.
Prepare and present monthly performance scorecards covering key metrics such as sales, freight, storage costs, inventory accuracy, fill rate, and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), including recommendations for improvement.
Conduct variance analyses on delivery, supply chain, and inventory costs against budget, forecast, and prior-year performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
Generate and report sales performance updates and forecasts to support management decision-making.
Prepare monthly Price-Volume-Mix (PVM) analyses to evaluate sales performance and business trends.
Reconcile inventory accounts and investigate variances between system records and physical inventory counts. Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities to improve inventory accuracy.
Review and monitor inventory disposals, write-offs, and consignment account balances, ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance with company policies.
Evaluate the financial impact of supply chain and inventory-related projects and recommend solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Monitor and support the effective use of business intelligence and inventory management systems, coordinating with IT for enhancements and issue resolution.
Assist in monthly financial closing activities by providing analyses and commentaries related to delivery and supply chain costs.
Support the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and internal controls related to inventory and supply chain management.
Participate in meetings, projects, and cross-functional initiatives as required.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Accounting or a related field
Experience
At least 1–2 years of experience in an FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) role or as an Accounting Business Partner.
Skills
Must have solid understanding of Financial and Cost Accounting
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and accounting software. Background in SAP is an advantage
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis)
Confidentiality, communication skills, scheduling and monitoring, problem analysis and problem-solving skills.
Willing to work overtime
Time management and ability to meet strict reporting deadlines
