Category Controller(m/f/d)
A full-time position at our Headquarters in Hamburg starting 1st December 2026 .
“We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. This role is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to grow with hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, and internal controls. The Controller will work closely with the Stakeholders and other finance team members, supporting the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, assisting with budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position is key to maintaining the integrity of our financial data and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.”

by driving Margin Analysis and Planning through DECLAR, measuring margin deviations to Budget and formulating expectations on revised forecasts as part of the monthly KPIs
by acting as a Business Partner for the main Business Categories: Writing Instruments, Leather and Watches
by analyzing and discussing Contributive and Gross Margins for the Categories
by providing margin calculations for novelties and evaluating the financial success of the assortment
by implementing sound processes for margin analysis and driving execution on forecasts and reporting
by developing a close relationship with Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing and Accounting
by challenging financial planning objectives in the context of quarterly forecasts and the yearly budget
You’ll have…
a bachelor’s or master’s degree with a focus on Controlling
at least 3 years of work experience in a comparable position
proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
experience with SAP BW
fluent English skills
