About the role
Description:
The role is responsible for supporting engineering operations across the organization with a focus on HVAC systems and Building Management Systems (BMS) in pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities. The role ensures quality, safety, reliability, cost, timeliness, and performance standards are achieved through effective operation, monitoring, and maintenance of HVAC and BMS infrastructure. It supports testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of systems, interprets engineering drawings, layouts, and specifications, and contributes to data analysis, documentation, and compliance activities. The position monitors system performance outcomes to meet technical, functional, cost, and schedule targets, supports regulatory and audit requirements, and actively participates in continuous improvement and energy efficiency initiatives within a regulated environment.
Essential Functions:
Operate and monitor HVAC and BMS systems to ensure performance compliance
Execute maintenance planning and preventive maintenance activities
Perform system troubleshooting and performance optimization
Interpret HVAC layouts, P&IDs, and engineering drawings
Analyze BMS data and system performance trends
Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Prepare and maintain technical documentation and system records
Support qualification, validation, and audit readiness activities
Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
Coordinate with internal teams and support vendor activities
Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
Additional Responsibilities:
Ensure strict compliance with EHS policies, SOPs, and all applicable statutory and company safety requirements.
Identify, report, and support the closure of unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, near misses, and incidents in a timely manner.
Consistently use the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain safe housekeeping practices within the work area.
Actively participate in safety trainings, emergency drills, risk assessments (HIRA/JSA), and promote a strong safety culture
Education:
Undergraduate ITI Fitter - Required
Diploma DEE - Preferred
Experience:
3 years or more in 3 - 6 Years
