Retail and Community Hub Manager
About the role
Key Responsibilities
Build strong relationships with the local community groups and businesses, generating links.
Deliver monthly large-scale events across the hub and store, taking ownership and responsibility for organising the events and working with other members of the Community Hub team to maximise opportunities and generate additional income.
Support all activity through consistent social media promotion, liaising with the Retail Communications Lead and Social Media Team as required.
Maximise sales by maintaining high standards of display and layout in the store and realistic prices are obtained on donated items.
Support the District Manager in the recruitment of staff and Volunteers.
Ensure all financial reporting and management, cash handling, daily banking and security procedures are followed.
Support the stores eBay and digital marketplace operations.
Key criteria
Brand Knowledge-Understand the Marie Curie services we offer and direct those seeking our support to the most appropriate point of contact
Ability to provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with local residents, community
Experienced in motivating and influencing others
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple activities
Comprehensive retail management experience preferably in fashion/clothing, including merchandising and display

Vacancy type: Permanent, full time
Location: Gloucester Road store
Salary: £25,000, per annum + benefits
Hours per week: 35h
