About the role

We're looking for a reliable and organised Retail Driver to support our retail operations across the South East.

This is a varied, independent role where you'll be responsible for collecting and delivering stock between Marie Curie shops and other locations, ensuring each site receives excellent service and support. Working to a planned schedule, you'll build positive relationships with shop teams, represent Marie Curie professionally and play an important role in helping our retail network generate income that supports people living with a terminal illness and their families.

This role would suit someone who enjoys being on the road, takes pride in providing a dependable service and has experience carrying out deliveries and collections across multiple locations. You'll need to be a confident driver, comfortable managing your own workload and committed to delivering a great service every day.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out deliveries and collections in line with agreed schedules and procedures.

Service multiple Marie Curie retail locations, ensuring stock is collected and delivered safely and efficiently.

Maintain positive working relationships with Retail Managers, Shop Teams and colleagues across the retail network.

Complete all relevant administration accurately and within agreed timescales.

Represent Marie Curie professionally when interacting with donors, customers and colleagues.

Support the effective day-to-day operation of the retail function through a reliable and efficient collection and delivery service.

Role Details

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Part-Time

Location: South East (Croydon)

Salary: £7,936.50 per annum, plus benefits and London Allowance where applicable

Hours: 12.5 hours per week

Qualifications

Full UK driving licence.

Experience carrying out deliveries and collections across multiple locations.

Ability to interact professionally and confidently with members of the public and colleagues.

Good understanding of the local area.

Ability to travel independently to and from the work base.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and manage a scheduled workload.

Ability to complete basic administration accurately and on time.
