Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting internship where you can directly apply the knowledge you gained during your studies? Then you are in the right place with us!

We are looking for you to support our team in the Project Management department at the Tech Center Hydrogen Technologies in Hamburg Harburg.

The internship should ideally last for 6 months. There is also the possibility to combine a mandatory internship with a voluntary, study-accompanying internship. We will need you mostly on-site in Hamburg.

What can you expect from us?

The Tech Center Hydrogen Technologies (H2TC) has been in existence since 2023 and operates a project-based business. Our Project Management department ensures the structuring, standardization and methodology of project execution. The goal of the internship is to generate more robust and standardized processes through sustainable measures.

You will support the program manager in planning, tracking, and documenting ongoing projects

You will create minutes, status reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

You will maintain reporting dashboards (Power BI) for ongoing projects

You will independently carry out a focused improvement project to optimize internal PM processes (e.g., workflows, reporting standards)

You will contribute to the creation and further development of project templates, tools, and documentation standards

You will maintain the internal project knowledge database and promote knowledge sharing within the team (lessons learned, risk management)

You will work on cross-departmental initiatives with a structured, project-oriented approach

Qualifications

Are you wondering if you are suitable for the internship in project management? Here are the key qualifications we are looking for:

You are studying Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Business Administration, or a comparable field, providing you with a fundamental understanding of our area of work

You have good knowledge of project management and specific tools (e.g., Power BI, Access, Visual Basic, Planisware)

Ideally, you have experience with AutoCAD and Pro/E

You should be familiar with MS Office and have excellent skills in the common programs

Good German and very good English skills, both written and spoken, are essential for us

You are a person with high commitment and initiative

You are independent, goal-oriented, and structured, knowing how to work effectively without losing track

Analytical thinking is also advantageous and can help you solve tasks effectively and accurately.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills are particularly important to us – after all, we always need to work together on solutions
