Job Summary
Business Analyst collect, process, and perform statistical analyses on large datasets to help organizations make data-driven decisions. Should have strong skills in data modeling, programming, data visualization, and data storytelling.
General working knowledge of mortgage servicing.
Working experience within any of the following areas: Loss Mitigation, collections, escrow, and cash management.
Identifies goals, develops best practices for data collection, and analyzes current processes so that they may be improved to the greatest extent possible.
The solution-oriented changes improve an organization's overall efficiency, including process optimization, cost reduction, and identifying fresh business opportunities.
Business analysts accomplish this through research-gathering and data analysis, presenting a range of data-driven solutions, and thereafter implementing those solutions and optimizations using analytics tools and technologies.
Include extensive knowledge in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting, as well as having a clear understanding of reporting and regulatory requirements, key success factors, and performance indicators.
Defines change management requirements, research alternatives, communicates change processes, drives solutions, tests to confirm, and implements solutions.
Analyzes and gathers information to develop and implement change management processes.
Provides informal training as part of implementation process.
Supports, participates, and facilitates CAB meetings.
Reviews submitted request for Change (RFC) for completeness.
Records approvals and authorizes RFCs after required approvals have been obtained.
Document reasons for rejected or cancelled RFCs.
Track progress, generate reports, and confirms completion of change.
Supports post implementation processes.
