Central Detained Property Assistant

Working within a busy office and warehouse environment to provide high quality, effective and efficient administrative support service to operational policing and support with the movement, management and disposal of Police exhibits.

The role is part of the Corporate Asset Management department within the Facilities section which comprises of printing services, uniform supply and secure storage.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the customer experience is at the centre of the services delivered

Management of detained property and information assets, including filing and tapes

Responding to general requests and enquiries from internal customers by email, telephone, letter and in person including return of items

Responsible for operation of property systems

Responsible for relocating items, preparing for transport and external storage, baying up items, receiving goods, sorting, disposal and/or destruction of property

Vetting: Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorist Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.

Medical: Appointment to this role will be dependent upon you successfully passing medical checks, which may include a drug and hearing test.

Hours: This is a full-time position working between core hours of 07:00 to 15:00, Monday to Friday working on and off site.
